COPPA Notice
Last updated: July 20, 2026
This notice explains how PlayAirHockey.com complies with the United States Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar protections for children in other jurisdictions.
1. General-Audience Service
PlayAirHockey.com is a general-audience game. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
2. We Don't Collect Personal Information
The game requires no account, no email address, no phone number and no sign-in of any kind. Specifically, we do not collect:
- Real names
- Email addresses or phone numbers
- Postal addresses
- Photographs, audio or video
- Precise geolocation
- Persistent identifiers used to build a profile of an individual
The only user-supplied value is a display name, freely chosen and stored in the player's own browser.
3. Chat and Player Interaction
There is no chat in PlayAirHockey.com — no text, no voice, no emotes. During an online match, the only thing shared between the two players is paddle movement, puck position, the score, and the display name each player chose. Players cannot send each other messages or any other free-form content.
4. Guidance for Parents
We recommend that parents:
- Ask their child to use a nickname rather than their real name
- Review our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy
- Use browser settings to manage or clear local storage
5. Parental Rights
If you believe your child has provided personal information to us, email PlayAirHockey@velovid.net with the subject "COPPA Request". We will investigate and delete any such information promptly. Parents may also request that we stop any further collection of their child's information.
6. Advertising
We do not serve behaviourally targeted advertising to users and do not use advertising or retargeting cookies.
